FAQs
When does the game end?
The game ends when a player has 3 or fewer tokens remaining. After reaching this condition, all players get one more turn including the person who reached the three or less tokens condition.
Can I draw Gems of Virtues cards and then claim a path during the same turn?
No, a player can only conduct one action during their turn. The actions are the following:
1. Draw 3 virtue cards from the face-up area or from the top of the deck (Remember diamond rule).
2. Play a set of virtue cards to claim a path between two virtues.
3. Draw 3 additional path cards. Player must keep at least one card.
What are the best options for my last turn?
1. Finish a connection for a path card you own. Unfinished connections will count against you at the end of the game.
2. Find the longest path you can complete with the remaining virtue cards in your hand.
3. If possible, connect the last path you can complete to your existing connections and a new virtue – this will help you achieve a point bonus for obtaining the most virtues.
4. Complete a path that will use all of your remaining tokens to receive a 5 point bonus for using all tokens by the end of the game.
I have extra Gems of Virtues cards in my hand at the end of the game. Are they worth anything?

No, a player only needs to place their tokens on the colored diamonds between the two virtues they are connecting.
What if I can’t get the right colored Gems of Virtues cards to complete my path?
There are multiple paths that can be utilized to complete the specific paths selected by the player. Evaluate your existing connections to get to the same end point. Be creative in your path building. It may help to look across the board for other paths that you may need, because it is not necessary to connect paths in order. Any path on the board can be completed if you have the required Gems of Virtues cards in your hand. The connection on the path cards only needs to be completed by the end of the game.
If I don’t see a card that I need, what are my options?
